Development of Real-time Traveler Information System for Hong Kong
Department of Civil and Structural Engineering
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
Various models have been developed in the past decade for provision of real-time traveler information system (RTIS) in Hong Kong. These models can be used for intelligent transport systems (ITS) applications in congested road network with uncertainty in demand and supply. This seminar will give an overview of the recent advances and prospective future research on this important topic together with the related research works that have been carried out in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in the past decade.
