讲坛将包括两位巴西学者的讲座,介绍拉丁美洲国家经济发展特点和创新发展模式,可以对从事世界经济比较和一带一路经济合作背景有研究兴趣的学者和学生提供一定参考,特别是对科技园区建设模式和政策模型的对比研究提供素材。
This forum will invite two Brazilian scholars on economic and innovation studies to introduce characters and models of economic development and innovation, which may provide reference to those who are interested in international comparative studies, and Belt & Road policy studies, especially on development of science parks under influence of different policy models.
Lecture 1 - Innovation Systems Perspective: An applied version in Brazil

Abstract: The goal of this lecture is to present how the Brazilian innovation system works based on evolutionary analytical perspective. The main subject is the co-evolution process of the different system agents and how they co-evolve. Brazilian model of innovation and science parks are unique in terms of certain kind of technologies, such as agro-bio technologies, and advanced aircraft industries.
Short bio: PhD in Industry and Technology Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2008). Master's degree in Business Administration (1999) and bachelor's degree in Economics (1994) from Federal University of Alagoas. Master´s degree professor in economics, intellectual property and innovation in Federal University of Alagoas. Researcher at Group of Studies in Technology, Innovation and Competitiveness. Experience in Economics, with emphasis on Industrial Economics and Industrial Studies
Lecture 2 - Brazilian's Innovation System in a University–Industry Perspective: The role of selected National Innovation System actors and their interaction through the University – Industry technology transfer in Brazil

Abstract: The goal of this lecture is to present how the Brazilian innovation system works, identify the main organizations and networks created to run the innovation system, the programs and policies to boost the rise of habitats of innovation and the industry-university-government interaction to achieve technological, economical and social development. Brazilian model of innovative organizations and universities are special, representing Portugees and Spanish language circle, with unique cultures for running such innovation system.
Short bio: Holds a degree in Economics (1997) and a specialization in Agroindustrial Economics (1998), both from the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL). Master's degrees in Economic Development, Space and Environment (2001) and Doctorate degree in Applied Economics (2006) at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), São Paulo. Works at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) since 2006 as a Technologist in Industrial Property. Held the position of Academic Coordinator of the Master's Program in Intellectual Property and Innovation (Nov / 2007-Oct / 2008), Coordinator of Research and Education in Intellectual Property, Innovation and Development (Oct / 2008-Dec / 2010) and General Coordinator of the Intellectual Property, Innovation and Development Academy (Jan / 2011-Jul / 2013). Professor and researcher in the INPI's Professional Master and Doctoral Programs in Intellectual Property and Innovation. Researcher with emphasis on the Economics of Intellectual Property and Innovation, intellectual property, innovation and agribusiness. Permanent Professor of the Professional Master's Program in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation (PROFNIT / Florianópolis / UFSC Focal Point).
