Prof. EL KAMEL received the Engineering, M-Tech, PhD and HDR “Habilitation to Direct Research” in Computer & Systems Engineering from Centrale Lille, France. He is currently Full Professor at Centrale Lille and Regular Visiting Professor to China (BUAA, BIT, GZU, Centrale Peking & U. of Macao). His major research interests include Intelligent Systems Automation & Optimization with application to ITS, Mobile Cooperative Robots, VRP and Logistics.
Prof. EL KAMEL was Chair of the Technical Committee on "Autonomous Cyber-Physical Systems" for IEEE-SMC and President of the French IEEE-SMC Chapter; Member elect of the Board of Governors of the IEEE France Section (2005-2012); Co-Chair then Chair of the IEEE-SMC “Student Activities Committee” (1998-2004). Member of the IFAC TC3.2 "Computational Intelligence" since 2005; he was also two-time Member elect of the National Council of Universities (CNU). He has been invited speaker for more than 50 plenary lectures or tutorials in International Conferences and is on the Program Committee of more than 150 IEEE SMC & CSS, IFAC and several other conferences.
Prof. EL KAMEL was World Bank Expert and "Steering Committee Member" of the "Africa Higher Education Centers of Excellence (ACE) Project (2018 – 2020)" in charge of ITC & Smart Systems. He was also Expert & Cabinet Staff Member of successive Tunisian Ministers of Higher Education & Research in charge with International Cooperation.
讲座概要
In this talk, I will present an overview about my team research topics related to ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) and UV (Unmanned Vehicles) considering both the Platoon of vehicles strategy in highways & Cooperative vehicle management system. Then I will present a new EU collaborative project entitled "Mobile/Fixed Battery Charging Stations New Disruptive Technologies for EVRP– Towards Sustainable and Eco-friendly urban delivery" which focuses mostly on the use of electrical vehicles in logistics mainly in the last-mile delivery problem.
